New Connections Therapeutic Mentoring Program is committed to training students and giving back to the New Haven community. Interns are one of the driving forces behind the success of any program due to their enthusiasm, creativity and fresh perspective. We strive to work with each intern in exploring their career goals and how we may help them grow professionally during their tenure in our program.
There are many opportunities to learn new skills and help your community while fulfilling your academic internship requirements. You may serve as a therapeutic mentor if you meet the minimum requirements (see [link to Call for Mentors]), co-facilitate therapeutic groups with other therapeutic mentors and assist in the coordination and implementation of the New Connections Therapeutic Mentoring Program. Do not hesitate to contact us to discuss your academic internship requirements and how we may help you reach them.
If you are interested in interviewing for an Internship or Practicum position at New Connections Therapeutic Mentoring Program, please forward your resume and contact information for three separate non-family members who can serve as character references to the following email: information@therapeuticmentoring.org. Please type "Intership/Practicum Application" in the Subject line of your email.
